Add the wall Object to the game:
           31. Go to the Add menu
           32. Choose Add Object - a form
               will appear.
           33. In the Name field, type
               “wall_obj”
(It is good to add “_obj” to your
Object names so you can easily tell
them apart from the Sprites with the
                same name.)
             34. From the drop down menu,
                 choose the wall Sprite you
                 created earlier.
             35. Check the box next to Solid.
The walls do not move and other objects will not be able to go through them, so
                 we will make it solid.
             36. Click the OK button

Add the ball Object to the game:
           37. Go to the Add menu
           38. Choose Add Object - a form
               will appear.
           39. In the Name field, type
               “ball_obj”
           40. From the drop down menu,
               choose the ball Sprite you
               created earlier.
                 Since the ball does move,
we will not make it solid.
BUT, we will need to give it
                 some other behaviors like
                 bouncing, sound, etc.

We want to make the ball move in all 8 directions when it is first created in the
             game.
             41. Click on the Add Event button (1.)
             42. From the Event Box, click on Create (2.)

                                                              3.

                                      2.

                                    1.

             43. From the Actions on the Move tab, drag the action with the 8 red
arrows to the empty space to begin the list of actions. A new
                  box pops up. (3.)
             44. Select all 8 arrows on the diagram and leave the speed to 8.
             45. Click the OK button

Now we have to define what will happen in a collision event with the wall.
             46. Click the Add Event Button.
             47. Click on the Collision Event button (with the two red arrows pointing to each other)
             48. From the drop down menu, choose the wall object

             49. For the collision with the wall, we want the Bounce action. (It looks like a red arrow
                    bouncing off a blue wall.)
             50. Click OK

Finally, we have to define what happens when the user clicks the ball with the
             mouse.

We want these things to happen when they click the ball:
                   sound plays
 ball starts in new place
 ball moves in new direction
                   score increases one point

             51. Click the Add Event button.
             52. Click the Mouse event button
             53. Click on the Left Button Event
             54. From the Main1 Actions tab, drag the Play a Sound button to the empty space
to begin the list. A new box pops up
             55. From the drop down menu, choose the sound we loaded earlier called beep.
                  Leave Loop to “False”

             56. Click the OK
                  button

             57. From the Score Actions tab, drag the Set the Score button to the list. A new
                   box pops up.
             58. In the New Score: field, type 1. Check the box next to Relative. This will make
the score increase 1 point relative to 1 click.
             59. Click the OK button

             60. From the Move Actions tab, drag the Jump to a Random Position button to the
list. A new box pops up. Click OK.

             61. Repeat steps 37 to 57 for the badman_obj. EXCEPT: make the score
negative 2 (-2) and click relative so that each time the badman is clicked, the
                  player loses two points.

All of the Objects are now READY!!! We just need to add the Room.

IX. CREATE ROOMS AND PLACE OBJECTS IN ROOMS
       Add a Room
The game must take place in a Room. This will have a background and sprites will
be placed inside the room. Each time a sprite is placed on the room layout, it is
called an instance. You will have a lot of wall instances and only one ball instance.

Add the Room to the game:
           62. From the Add menu, Choose Add Room
           63. Maximize the Room form to fill the screen
           64. Notice the 5 tabs at the top of the properties box. Select the Settings Tab
           65. In the Name field, type “Room1”. Add a caption in the caption field.

             66. Click on the Backgrounds Tab.
             67. Click on the drop down menu and choose Space for the background image.
             68. Click OK

             69. Click on the Objects Tab.
             70. From the Objects to Add With Left Mouse drop down menu, choose Wall_obj
             71. Left Click on the room layout to place a wall sprite on the screen. Right click
on the wall sprite to remove it from the layout.
             72. Line the edge of the layout with these wall squares until they cover all sides
                 of the layout.
             73. From the Objects to Add With Left Mouse drop down menu, choose the ball
                 sprite
             74. Click in the room once to place a ball in the room.

             75. Repeat steps 69 to 70 to place the badman_obj in the room.

Now you are done with setting up the game. Lets test it out!
X. RUN AND TEST GAME
       Test the Game
If you have not made any mistakes, you should see the game load, the ball bouncing
around. When you click on the ball, the score increases by 1 point and the ball
starts again from a new position in the room.

             76. From the Run menu, choose Run Normally. The game will load.
             77. To quit the game, press the Esc. Key on the keyboard.

XI. EXPAND YOUR GAME !!
       Make it more challenging!
       Try some of these changes:

 Add more objects to the room
 Speed up object movement – make good objects faster, bad objects
                     slower and easier to hit.
 Add new sprites and objects to the game. Give them new sounds and
                     point gains or losses
 Create a new sprite/object that ENDS the game when clicked by accident.
