SMARTBoard Team Content Tip sheet
The team content sites have been developed to share content across the district. In order for individuals to
access this content, you must first connect the folders to your notebook gallery. Once you have done this, you
may use and add content to the folders that you are connected to.
Connecting to Team Content Folders
Open Notebook software and click on the Gallery tab
Next to the Search Bar, locate the wrench icon and click it
Choose Connect to Team Content
Navigate to the Team Content Folders
My Computer / KSD Staff (V drive) / ControlledAccess / SMART_Board_Content / (choose the
appropriate folder from here) for example if I am a middle school 7 th grade science teacher… I need
to choose Middle School / Science / Science 7 / Life and repeat the entire process for Earth and
Physical.
Team Content and My Content folders will be designated in your list with a heart on the folder.
These Team Content folders are connected only on the computer you are working on. They do not
follow your profile from computer to computer.
Adding to Team Content Folders
Once you have found items in the gallery that you want to save for the group to use, you may drag
and drop these items directly into the Team Content folders.
If you have developed content and notebook files of your own, you may also save these to the Team
Content folders as well. You may want to save a copy in your own content folder first.
With the notebook file open, click on the wrench and select the option Add Current File to My
Content
Once the file is in the My Content folder, drag and drop these into any of the Team Content folders
you are connected to.
If you have only made a gallery item on a page, click and drag the item from the page directly into
the folder you want to save it to. Be sure to name your items with a searchable name.
