To workout on a gym ball and target the abs is a very popular routine.The ball is cheap to have

in any house and easy to use. You don't require a gym membership or a trainer to get good

results doing a workout ball ab routine daily.To achieve good results quickly and effectively a

person needs just a few bits of advice. The absolute first thing to get right is how to test your

core muscles.The second thing to learn is how to use your core muscles.The third thing to do is

follow an expert Pilates trainer who is educated in training the abs as the workout target.If a

person has these steps behind them they will get the best results.

The aim in many cases is to end up with a strong deep core muscle and a good looking strong

abdominal line.The six pack abs is what many want.So the steps to achieve this result start with

testing to know if you have a good strong and functioning core stability muscle. This is often the

first step missed and it is the most important for long term success.As a Pilate's teacher and a

Physiotherapist I assess and advice any people on how to follow a workout ball abs routine.If

deep core training is not established then the strengthening of the six pack muscle will not be

to the maximum. Back pain is often a feature that limits success.Back pain comes from

following the wrong advice and performing the exercises wrong.The workout is often stopped

because a person develops back pain due to this incorrect exercise routine and incorrect advice.

The ball is the ideal tool to work the core stability muscles and the front abdominal muscles.The

posture muscles are worked,the limb muscles are worked and the deep core muscles in

particular are worked to the maximum benefit.I find this only happens if a person learns Pure

Pilates before following any workout ball abs program.Many people are given incorrect

information on ball size and what to do.To works the abs effectively on a gym or swill ball as it

is also known the ball must be the right size.

To buy the right size, measure from the floor to your mid thigh and read the length. It will be

anywhere from 55cm to 75cm.Buy the closet size to your measurement.Buy an anti burst ball of

good quality.Then you need to buy some resistance band from any sport store.To test your core

I advise following a Physiotherapist only.To work out the abs properly on a ball I advise

following a Pilate's expert.
