Phil: Ed.

Phil: Ed, wake up.

SFX (pachi – eyes opening): open

Phil: Ah, you're awake.

Page 103

Ed: Don't say it over and over again.

Don't wake me up so early in the morning.

Phil: Eh? But the weather's nice out so isn't it fine?

Ed: I've never had such a healthy live style.

It's not like a vampire.

Phil: It's not as if you'll turn to ash if you bask in the sun.

Isn't it fine? Besides, I made breakfast.

Ed (thought): Breakfast, huh...

Page 104

Ed (thought): Even though he hasn't made this sort of thing before...until recently.

Ed (thought): He's behaving like a normal human. Is he fluttering away...?

Phil: How is it?

Phil: Alice taught me, but it seems like I can't make it very well.

Ed: Alice...? ...Who?

Phil: Oh, I haven't told you? She works at the town library.

Page 105

Phil: She's a very good person.

Since I don't know about society,

Phil: she's taught me about many things.

Phil: I'm going to return a book today too.

Phil: Won't you come with me, Ed?

Ed: …

Phil: Ed...?

Ed: I'm fine.

Page 106

Phil: Really?

Phil: Ah...well, meet her next time.

Phil: I think she'll definitely like you too, Ed.

Page 107

Phil: Hello.

Alice: Oh, hello.

Page 108

Phil: Thanks for this. It was incredibly interesting.

Alice: Oh good, so you liked it?

Phil: Yeah, a lot.

Alice: Well, we have more of the same series, so you should try reading it.

Phil: Oh... Thanks. I'll read it.

Phil: By the way, I came to invite you today.

Alice: What?

Page 109

Phil: Won't you come have fun at my house? I want you to meet Ed.

Alice: Ed?

Alice: The one you're always talking about?

Alice: Yeah... Your rumored older brother.

Phil: Right. I told Ed about you today.

Phil: He's a little shy but if you talked to him you'd definitely enjoy it.

Alice: That's right, since you always talk about him.

I think it'd be nice to meet him once.

Phil: Really? Good.

Page 110

Phil: You'll definitely be surprised when you meet him.

Alice: Oh, why?

Phil: He's a very handsome man.

Alice (written): Ahaha!

Alice: I'm looking forward to it.

Phil: Well, it's a promise.

Phil: Ah.

Page 111

Phil: What part of me isn't strange?

Alice: ? What? You always ask. Is something wrong?

Phil: I'm fine.

Alice: No part of you is strange. You are beautiful today too.

Phil: That's good if it's true.

Phil (thought): I wonder if I took a little too long.

Phil (thought): That shop...

Phil: They just have small shoes.

How nostalgic... I came here with Ed before.

Page 114

Phil: When I came here before...

Phil (thought): I was still small. All I could do was follow behind Ed.

Page 115

Phil (narration): I wonder

Phil (narration): how I look at Ed now.

Phil: I'm home.

Phil: Ed?

Phil: ...Ed.

Page 119

Phil: Wah!

Ed: What are you doing?

Page 120

Phil: You're awake. ...Don't surprise me like that.

SFX (pa – impact noise): pat

Ed: This is probably what woke me.

You'll always be mischievous like a child.

Phil: …

Not likely. You just always treat me like a child, Ed.

Ed: …

Ed: ...That's right.

Page 121

Phil: I invited Alice here, but is that alright?

Phil: I said we'd have fun.

Ed: ...Yeah.

Phil: Are you going out tonight?

Ed: No, I'm not.

Page 122

Phil: Right...

You haven't been going out recently...

Ed: …

Phil: Ah...well...

Phil: Today when I was returning from the library I passed by a shoe store.

Phil: Do you remember? It was the shoe store you took me to when I was small.

Ed: Yeah, I remember.

Phil: It hasn't changed at all. It felt weird being there...

Page 123

Phil: Even now they just have small shows for children.

Phil: Let's go again. The two of us.

Phil: Even if I say that, there are probably not any shoes I can wear.

Phil: I'm really different than I was then...

Phil: When I was small, all I could do was follow behind you, Ed.

Phil: But now...

Ed: Stop already.

Page 124

Phil: Eh?

Ed: I don't want to hear about it.

Ed: I understand that things are different from back then.

Ed: I don't want to know

what you're doing in places I don't know.

Ed: I don't want to hear about that woman who knows those things.

Phil: Ed...?

Page 125

Ed: You say she'll like me if we meet!? It's not that simple.

Ed: I cannot carry any favors.

Ed: Instead I want to hurt you.

Phil: Ed...

Phil: Ed...you wouldn't do something like that.

Ed: Haha, what am I doing. You probably aren't a child anymore.

Ed: It's so unsightly.

Page 126

Ed: It seems I don't know you...

Ed: I'm always scared. You're growing older.

Ed: You won't be a child forever.

Ed: In time...

Phil: Ed...

Page 127

Ed: My feelings are changing.

Phil: Ed...

Phil: Please look at me.

Phil: Please listen to me.

Phil: Don't you understand at all?

Page 128

Phil: You don't understand at all, Ed.

Ed: Phi...
