2. Is the game single player or multiplayer? This is a single players game
3. Is there a collaborative component or aspect to the game? The aspect to the game is to run a
restaurant and succeed at doing so.
4. What genre is the game (first-person shooter; role play, etc.)? Role Playing Game
5. Who is the intended audience (Adult – business and industry; Adult – higher education; Student
(grades 7 – 12); Student (grades Preschool – 6); everyone; some combination? I think that
anyone can play this game, it is like Farmville mixed with a Yoville.
6. What are the learning goals? How to run a McDonald’s corp.
7. How well are the learners able to achieve those goals? Pretty easy, I felt that it was a simple
game.
8. What else are the players of the game learning? Farming, Butchering, and restaurant
management.
9. Does the game track the learner’s performance? Yes it does, through money and debt.
10. Does the game adapt to the learner’s performance? Not really, at least I could not tell.
11. Is there an “end” to the game? Yes when I was playing I ran out of money and was fired, not
good when a giant clown is terminating my job.
12. Are there sufficient rewards along the play path to engage and motivate the learner? Not really
unless money is an award
13. Has any research been done to assess the effectiveness of the game? If so, please provide a brief
report on the findings or a link to the article/results of the research. I did not see any.
