MySQL DBA – Gold Position
At least 2 years of experience as MySQL DBA (installation, building of replications, backup,
tuning )
Experience in distributive database environments (replication support)
Maintenance of production databases 7*24
Knowledge of Linux/UNIX, Windows
Programming: Linux/Unix scripts, Perl, php
Ability to work with developers
Advantage: Oracle DBA, SQL Server DBA, DB2 DBA, web applications
Recommendation system expert – Gold Position
Experience in algorithms development. Especially in the fields of
recommendation systems, data mining or information retrieval.
Ability to implement sophisticated algorithms. Experience in programming
(C/C++/C#).
Experience with working in a research team.
Knowledge of mathematical environments such as MATLAB – an advantage.
MSc/PhD in Mathematics or Computer science or related area - an
advantage
Linux System Administrator – Gold Position
At least 3 years of experience in:
Linux, Apache, mysql / sql server / oracle.
TCP/IP networks including firewalls, cisco or cisco style devices.
Understanding of network protocols such as DNS, FTP, HTTP, SMB, NFS
Scripting with perl / shell scripts / awk.
Experience in Supporting the R&D

Online Marketing Manager-- Silver position
Research sites in the Web 2.0 environment and beyond, to find potential
candidates for cooperation, media buys or affiliations.
Initiate contact with relevant web sites, present Metacafe, identify and
present the cooperation possibilities.
Negotiate terms of deal, establish and manage relationship, keeping a
budget if relevant.
Webmaster / Web developer -- Silver position
Metacafe is looking for an excellent Webmaster / Web developer to join our portal
development team.
The person we're looking for should be versed in both server and client-side technologies,
able to develop standard-compliant code and work according to visual and written specs.
Professional Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience
Firm knowledge of server-side technologies - PHP, MySQL, OOP
Firm knowledge of client-side technologies - XHTML,CSS,JavaScript, DOM,
AJAX
Knowledge of modern JS libraries like Mootools, Prototype.js, JQuery
