resident. It may be in your heart to help, but it is
not a way to solve that type of problem. In most
cases, families are offended by having clothes
that are not appropriate for their loved ones. If

You may have heard the issue from the labor
department that was in the Bismarck Tribune.
The issue is, unless you are 18 years of age you
should not be able to operate a mechanical lift or
EZ stand. We do not have many employee's
that are not 18, that would be effected by this
law. I do feel this is a rule that had no negative
issues and was created with no just cause. We,
as an association, are working toward getting
this law changed. Until this time, if you are under
the age of 18 years you should not be operating
an EZ stand or Hoyer Lift by yourself. We do
want to hire young people and put them in the
job market and allow them to help our residents
and provide good care to them. I do believe this
law hinders us from doing so.
Last but not least we have been putting in many

Please refrain from posting anything but work
related issues (scheduling, meetings, payroll,
etc) on the wall by the time clock. We would
like this area to be of importance to work items
so it doesn’t become a miscellaneous bulletin
board and items are not looked at seriously. All
other items may be posted on the staff room
bulletin board.
