  Arriving in North Conway, we will make our home for the next 2 nights at the
beautiful Green Granite Inn which is located next to Settlers Green which has

variety of other great stores as well. Departing Sunday morning we will make our
way to Portland where we will have a full morning of shopping at the Portland

July 30, 2011 Day Trip: – Prince Edward Island to the Anne of
Green Gables Theatre Production - Charlottetown.

take in the 2:00 PM performance of the Anne of Green Gables Musical
    Once we cross the Confederation Bridge we will stop and have our
lunch at the Gateway Village (on your own) prior to arriving in Charlottetown for
a wonderful afternoon of Music & Entertainment.
    As we say goodbye to Anne and travel towards home I have arranged a

August 4 – 16, 2011 (13 Days) – Tour the Beautiful Island of
Newfoundland with our special Musical Guest Gary Burgess
 Come along with us as we explore this Beautiful Island of Newfoundland
from St. Anthony to St. Johns. You will experience nothing like it - the
unique culture and hospitality of these wonderful people, the scenery and
wildlife are amazing – BOOK this exciting trip of a life time today!

Day 1: We will leave New Brunswick, traveling through Nova Scotia to spend
our first night in North Sydney where we will have a Meet & Greet Dinner
waiting for us, followed by an evening of musical entertainment.

Day 2: We board the Ferry this morning for a 6 hr crossing to Port aux
Basques, Newfoundland. Enjoy onboard entertainment, movies or do some
whale watching as we get closer to the Island. We will have a chance to enjoy
the beautiful scenery of the Long Range Mountains as we make our way to
Stephenville for our overnight.

Day 3: Today we will drive past Corner Brook and Deer Lake, taking the Viking
Trail to Gros Morne National Park, stopping along the way for lunch. In the
afternoon we will enjoy a coastal drive to Town of St. Anthony, the Iceberg
Capital of the world. We will make our home here for the next 2 nights.

Day 4: We will visit L’anse aux Meadows, home of the Viking people and the
remains of the Norse buildings. We will also take a drive to Fishing Point
where we will visit the Emporium & Interpretation Centre. We will end our day
with a fun evening as we take part in a Great Viking Feast Leifsburdir and
Dinner Theatre in a Sod Hut.

Day 5: Departing from this unique area of Newfoundland we will retrace our
footsteps keeping our eyes open for moose along the way. We will also make a
few interesting stops, such as Port au Choix, the Arches and Western Brook
before our overnight in Cow Head, Gros Morne National Park. This evening we
will enjoy a performance of the Gros Morne Theatre Festival.

Day 6: Today we will travel down the Viking Trail stopping for a break in Deer
Lake, travel past Grand Falls – Windsor, Gander, through Terra Nova
National Park before our overnight in Clarenville.

Day 7: We’ll take the Baccalieu Trail stopping at Hearts Content where the first
transatlantic cable was laid. We’ll visit the Cable Station, travel over to
Conception Bay, to the Pirate town of Carbonear and then on to St. John’s for
2 nights
Day 8: Today we will enjoy the company of a Step on Guide who will enlighten
us as we “Tour” this Historical City of St. John’s. We will see Quidi Vidi
Village, Signal Hill, Cabot Tower and other sights. We’ll travel to Cape Spear,
the most easterly point in North America, home to Newfoundland’s oldest
lighthouse, and where you can stroll along the coastal boardwalk & watch for
whales. This evening you are in for a real treat, as we take you to a
Newfoundland Soiree. This is a night you will remember for ever!

Day 9: Today as we leave beautiful St. John’s we will make our way to Gander
where we will visit the Silent Witness Memorial Site where the 101st Airborne
division’s plane crashed in 1985, before checking into our Hotel.

Day 10: Our journey today will take us along a very scenic coastline know as
Iceberg Alley to the unique historical fishing village of Twillingate where we
will take time to visit, before we continue on to Corner Brook for our overnight.

Day 11: This morning we will retrace our steps and take you to the amazing
“Table Lands” the geological wonder of the world in Woody Point. After
lunch we will travel to Port aux Basques for our overnight and enjoy a “Farewell
Dinner” followed by an evening of “Music & Entertainment”.

Day 12: With much regret we will leave the “ROCK” today aboard the morning
Ferry taking with us some wonderful memories of a great vacation.
Once we arrive in North Sydney we will make our way to New Glasgow for our
final night away from home.

Day 13: We will depart for home today making a stop for lunch and shopping at
the Mass Town Market. We will arrive home in the late afternoon, with all kinds
of wonderful memories & many new friendships.

August 20, 2011: Day Trip - Prince Edward Island - LOBSTER SUPPER &
                            SIGHT SEEING TOUR

 Departing Saturday morning we will make our way to the beautiful Prince
Edward Island with a morning coffee break at The Gateway Village.
  We will then make our way towards Cavendish where we will have lunch at the
P.E.I. Preserve Company and have amble time to visit, sample the specialty
food items and take a walk in their beautiful gardens.
   Our afternoon will also include a visit to the Green Gables Heritage Place.
Discover the rural setting of the late 19th – Century Cavendish through the eyes
of world –renowned author L.M. Montgomery. Visit the famous house and
surroundings which became the setting for her classic tale of fiction, Anne of
Green Gables.
  As the afternoon comes to a close we will all be ready for a delicious supper
at “New Glasgow Lobster Suppers”. The meal includes a choice of lobster,
scallops, salmon, roast beef or ham supper with all you can eat mussels,
chowder, soup, salads, desserts and beverages.

September 9 – 20, 2011 (12 Days) National Quartet Convention,
Louisville Kentucky (Gospel Music at its best) & Amish Country
Pennsylvania – Sight & Sound Theatre.

  For all the “Gospel Music Lovers” don’t miss out on this opportunity to see all your
favorite Artists as well as all the new upcoming ones. We will be taking in 3 Great
Nights of Gospel Music as well as having ample time to explore and visit this beautiful
city of Louisville. I have arranged a City Tour for you where we will see the largest
collections of Victorian Homes in United States and a stop to visit the famous
Churchill Downs & Kentucky Derby Museum as well as many other points of

September 24, 2011 Day Trip “Fall Foliage Tour” to
                                    “Beautiful St. Martins”
  Come along with us for the day as we visit Beautiful St. Martins located along
the Fundy Coast line.
   After stopping in Sussex for Lunch, our afternoon will then take us to the
breath-taking natural beauty of the Fundy Trail which now has over 13
Kilometers of paved parkway. We will be joined by a Step on Tour Guide who
will enlighten us with the history of this beautiful Trail. Have your camera and
binoculars ready as the Fundy Trail is spectacular from every view!
    At the end of the Fundy Trail Parkway we will visit the Interpretive Centre,
where we will be welcomed with a “Punch & Cookie Reception” as well as a
short film on the early days of the logging community that once settled here.
     To finish up our day we will enjoy a delicious supper at the Cave View

Deposits/ Payments
   - A Deposit of $50.00 per person is due at the time of booking (unless otherwise
   - Balance of payment must be paid 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise
      specified on the individual tour pricing section.
   - Full payment must accompany any reservation received within 45 days prior to
   - Payments can be made by cheque, money order or cash.

   - All U.S. Tour pricing subject to change pending U.S. Vs Canadian dollar
      Cancellation Policy
   - Cancellations received 45-60 days before departure are fully refundable less a
      $35.00 processing fee (unless otherwise stated in that particular tour).
   - A full refund, however, will not be honored in situations where your reservation
      must be cancelled by Burgess Tours for reasons which are beyond its control
      and where Burgess Tours contractual obligations with its suppliers does not allow
      it to obtain reimbursement to the sums paid on behalf of the customer.
   - No refunds less than 45 days prior to departure unless other wise stated on a
      specified Tour. (Cancellation Insurance is Important)
   - Cancellation Insurance is available when booking (please ask for details and
      information) Burgess Tours suggest the purchase of cancellation insurance and
      medical insurance especially for travel in the United States. Insurance must be
      purchased with the initial payment.
   - Should one or more persons cancel or change their reservation, the remaining
      roommate(s) will be charged as per the new number of passengers sharing said

     losses, damages, cost or expenses arising out of personal injury, accidents or
     death, loss, damaged or delay of baggage or other property, or delay.
   -  Burgess Tours cannot accept responsibility for itinerary changes in
     accommodations, transportation, attractions, reserving the right to make
     substitute arrangements of equal value as deemed necessary.
   - Burgess Tours has the right to decline, retain or accept any person as a member
     of any tour at any time.

Documents Required for Travel:
Passports are required for travel in the United States as of June 1, 2009.
