OBJECTIVES
To control numerous environmental conditions for
greenhouse
To design Electronics
faultless
Mechanics
Software
intelligent Design
Problem
standalone
flexible
Sensing
easy to use
control system
To find out optimum measurement techniques, and sensors
To provide overall efficiency for greenhouse owners
Why Automation?
It has been reported that greenhouse automation
can achieve;
%45 decrease in use of pesticides, water, and energy.
%65 less employment
%65 decrease in general spending
%65 more efficient method (modern & faultless control
system)
%65 improvement on conditions (HVAC; heating, ventilation
and air condition )
49 % of Turkey’s population is farmer
The compulsory need to realize a greenhouse is only sun and water
SCHEDULE Project Calendar
METHODS
PLC-based control system with functional operator panel
Centralized controller unit to processing all indoor/ outdoor
conditions
Multi point feedback sensors to provide immaculate
operation
Alarm system
Expandable I/O options, flexible software structure with
day-time applications
Irrigation, shading, fogging, pulverization techniques and
superior framework as required by modern agriculture
Built-in receipts for growing various crops
RESULTS
The Smart Greenhouse measures various
environmental conditions regularly, and save them. To
reach the desired set points , it manipulates actuators
and related equipments.
A variety of crop growing profiles can be programmed,
and these settings are maintained automatically.
Faults are compensated and reported to the operator
Modern agricultural equipments provide efficient use
of resources.
Complete and applicable greenhouse model that
covers all customer expectations, is designed.
