KINDERGARTEN 90% of students will be able to:
Reading differentiate between a letter and a word.
Writing sketch and label pictures using initial consonant
sounds.
Math connect model, number word (orally) and numbers 0-
10, using a variety of representations.
KINDERGARTEN 2nd Quarter SMART GOALS
Reading identify rhyming words and be able to produce a
rhyming word for a given word.
Writing write single words or phrases to express ideas from
their writing plan (illustration)
Math compare and order sets and numbers.
KINDERGARTEN 3rd Quarter SMART GOALS
Reading produce the correct sound for all corresponding letters
in the alphabet.
Writing represent the way they talk with temporary and/or
conventional spelling (mostly consonants)
Math orally count objects in a set and write the
corresponding number (0-30)
KINDERGARTEN 4th Quarter SMART GOALS
Reading listen to the ending sound of a word and say another
word that ends with the same sound.
Writing write one or two thoughts or sentences.
Math share equally between two people.
