Greenberg Traurig Maher Appointed by Colt
Technology Services to Provide Employment Law

LONDON--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The law firm Greenberg Traurig Maher (GTM) has been appointed
by Colt Technology Services, a FTSE 250 company to manage its provision of employment law services across the
UK and Europe. GTM's appointment followed a formal proposal and is for an initial term of three years.
Colt is an established leader in delivering integrated computing and network services to major organisations,
midsized businesses and wholesale customers. It operates a 21-country, 35,000km network that includes
metropolitan area networks in 39 major European cities with direct fibre connections into 18,000 buildings and 19
Colt data centres. Colt’s information delivery platform for Europe enables its customers to deliver, share, process
and store their vital business information.
GTM's appointment covers all aspects of employment law service to Colt's 12 European offices, providing advice
and support on UK issues and coordinating and managing the provision of advice from local lawyers in other
European jurisdictions. The role also includes assisting with training for HR and management on employment issues,
development of internal know-how and maintenance of employment policies.
In addition to the "one stop shop" element, GTM's appointment offers a responsive alignment with Colt's budgetary
requirements. Through the pitch process, GTM gained a clear understanding of Colt's workflow and legal budgetary
pressures and was able to respond to these effectively.
