The Location and Design Manual Volume 3, Sections 1301 through 1308 and Figures 1302-1 through 1303-3 as well as associated Sample Plan Sheet Figures as listed below, have been revised to reflect current design and drafting procedures. Because these revisions do not significantly alter present plan preparation procedures, they can be implemented on all current design projects, effective immediately. The design feature information formerly provided with each Sample Plan Sheet has been incorporated into Section 1300. In order to assist with web viewing, the revised sections are provided in single column format. All changes are shown in red. Format for the remaining sections will be updated from dual column to single column format in a future revision.
