                                                                                           We have compared the above Balance Sheet with the books and accounts a t the Chief
                                                                                       Office of The Dominion Bank and the certified returns received from i t s Branches, and
                                                                                       after checking the cash and 4erifying the securities a t the Chief Office and certain of the
                                                                                       principal Branches on December 3+t, 1918, we certif that in our opinion such Balance
                                                                                                           a
                                                                                       Sheet e x h ~ b i t s true and correct view of the state o r t h e dank's affairs, aicording t o the
                                                                                       best of our information, the explanations given to us and a s shown by the books of the
                                                                                       Bank.
                                                                                           In addition to the examinations mentioned, the cash and qecurities a t the Chief Office
                                                                                       and certain of the princi a1 Branches were checked and verified by us a t another time
                                                                                       during the year and f o u n l t o be in accord with the books of the Bank.
                                                                                           All information and explanations required have been given to us and all transactions
                                                                                       of the Bank which have come under our notice have, in our opinion, been within the
