Discuss graduate school options with faculty



Take the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, etc. Utilize gre.org to take a practice test



Ask your professors and employers to serve as references or to write

recommendations for you. Assist them by providing a resume.



Join a professional organization (national/international) OUTSIDE of the

University that is related to your major



Visit the Writing and Math center (library) to improve your academic success skills



Activities/Leadership

If you have not yet joined a club/organization or community service activity on-

campus, do it now! Agencies and organizations hiring entry-level employees prefer a

high level of involvement
