Spring Training 2012
This is our initial meeting for our annual spring training trip. All of the following information is pending: Ken-Ton
Board of Education Approval, Airline prices and availability, and hotel availability.
This year’s trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida will be approximately $775 per person

We are planning on taking 18 girls on the trip. All returning Kenmore West Softball Players are invited to
apply. We will choose the 18 players by seniority starting with returning varsity players, then returning JV
players and years in the program.
Attendance on the trip does not guarantee a spot on the team nor does not going eliminate your chances of
making the team.
The dates of the trip will be Wednesday evening, April 4 - Thursday, April 12.
We will conduct ample fundraising activities so that each girl can choose to raise as much or as little of the
total cost.
A $100 deposit and the attached intention sheet will be due by Friday, September 2, 2011. The $100
dollars needs to be paid upfront. In the event a player fundraises the total amount for the trip the original
$100 will be refunded.
In the event a girl raises money for the trip and does not make the team, she will:
Have any personal money she paid into the trip refunded.
Use any money that was raised through a fundraiser for softball related equipment or
activities.
Following is a payment schedule we set up for your convenience. Please remember that we are not bill
collectors. Our intent is to make it so there is not a big burden on families right before the trip. An
individual account will be set up for each player and keeping that account up to date will help to make that
total cost easier to obtain.

After the original deposit is paid the remaining payments can be made with personal funds or fund
raised money can be used.
