Norwegian Business Matchmaking Programme (BMMP)
Instructions for Companies perfecting the profile document to participate in the BMMP
1. The Company should submit accurate information and if any of the requirements
are not met, the reasons should be provided.
2. The Companies should meet the following basic requirements to be eligible to
participate in the programme; however these conditions can be subjected to
change.
a) Should have been in operation for at least 3 years
b) Annual Turnover of Rs.20 Million (Depending on the sector)
c) Have an equity ratio >20%
d) Must be a company registered in Sri Lanka
e) Membership in any business chamber of business council will be
considered Must hold membership in any business chamber (optional)
* Note
This information is required by NORAD Organization to accurately assess the
impact and benefit of the Matchmaking Programme to Sri Lanka and Norwegian
Industries ; thus ensuing its continuity
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to decline any application, if
the applicant does not meet with required criteria or due to any other unethical
business behaviour on the part of the applicant
The above 1 & 2 requirements are not compulsory when submitting applications
for trading only.
