THE SALIENT FEATUEES OF THE TENDER WILL BE
1) Offer with ex-stock delivery i.e. within 7 days from the date of
receipt of P.O.will be considered on priority. Wherever firms are
not in a position to offer ex-stock delivery schedule as above, they
may indicate alternative delivery period.
2) Inspection will be by consignee after receipt of material if order
value is less than Rs. 1(One) Lakh and inspection by RITES before
despatch of material if order value is more than Rs.1(One) Lakh.
3) Payment will be made by Sr.DFM/CKP against R/Note.
ADVANCE PAYMENT CONDITION WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED IN GENERAL.
4) Validity for the offer should be minimum 60 days.
5) IRS conditions of contract will govern the purchase contract.
6) Late and Delay tenders will not be accepted under any
circumstances.
7) Time Preference clause will be applicable for earlier deliveries.
8) Free delivery by Road transport at Consignee end is required &
counter offers are likely to be passed over. FOR : Destination price
to be quoted otherwise offer will be ignored.
9) The firm should submit their Performance Statement along with
registration on particulars with Railways/NSIC etc.
10) Suppliers must quote Road permit charges/Entry Tax/Octrai
specifically in their offer. In case Entry/Octrai is not quoted
specifically, it will be constructed that Entry Tax/Octrai element is
already included in the quoted rate.

and remedies available with the purchase under the law.
