BUILDING EVACUATION PROCEDURES
PROCÉDURES D’ÉVACUATION DU BÂTIMENT
EVACUACIÓN DEL EDIFICIO EN CASO DE INCENDIO
When the fire alarm bell rings on your floor (pre-signal alarm):
1. Leave your office, close the door, but do not lock it.
2. Proceed toward the staircases or special fire exits. (Elevators reserved for fire brigades.)
3. Wait for the Evacuation Alarm and proceed down the staircases.
4. In the staircase:
— Hold on to the handrails;
— Do not push or run;
— Keep in line, move in one direction only;
— Do not smoke;
— Keep conversation to a minimum.
5. After exiting on the ground floor, move outward and away from staircase and elevator core to
allow free flow of other evacuees exiting behind you. You will be advised when it is safe to
return to your office.
6. When alarm bells ring after regular working hours, on week-ends, and official holidays, all
occupants should immediately proceed to the ground floor, via the staircases.
Lorsque la sonnerie se déclenche à votre étage (signal précédant l'alarme):
1. Quittez votre bureau, fermez-en la porte, mais pas à clé.
2. Dirigez-vous vers les escaliers ou la sortie de secours. (Les ascenseurs sont réservés aux
pompiers.)
3. Attendez l'alarme d'évacuation et descendez par les escaliers.
4. Dans les escaliers:
— tenez la rampe;
— évitez de courir et de pousser les autres;
— restez en file, ne changez pas de direction;
— ne fumez pas;
— évitez les conversations inutiles.
5. Après être sorti au rez-de-chaussée, écartez-vous des cages d'escaliers et des ascenseurs pour ne
pas obstruer le chemin de ceux qui vous suivent. On vous avertira quand vous pourrez retourner
dans votre bureau.
6. En cas d'alarme en dehors des heures normales de travail, le week-end et les jours fériés, tous les
occupants du bâtiment doivent immédiatement descendre dans le hall d'entrée par les escaliers.
Cuando suene la alarma en su piso (señal de alarma previa):
1. Salga de la oficina y cierre la puerta, pero sin llave.
2. Diríjase hacia las escaleras o salidas especiales de incendio. (Los ascensores están reservados a
los bomberos.)
3. Espere la alarma de evacuación, descienda por las escaleras.
4. En las escaleras:
— agárrese a la barandilla;
— no empuje ni corra;
— manténgase en fila siguiendo una sola dirección;
— no fume;
— hable lo menos posible.
5. Después de salir a la planta baja del edificio, aléjese de las escaleras y de los ascensores para que
la gente que vaya evacuando el edificio a continuación tenga paso libre. Se le comunicará cuando
pueda volver sin peligro a su oficina.
6. Si sonara la alarma fuera de las horas habituales de trabajo, durante los fines de semana o en
feriados oficiales, toda persona que se encuentre en el edificio deberá dirigirse inmediatamente a
la planta baja del mismo utilizando las escaleras.
