We condemn all of these nations. It may be that, although the AU cannot safely intervene in the main theatre of conflict, actions can

fighting their own population? But before we begin to talk of sanctions, we plead again for the principal combatants to at least come to
the negotiating table. Neither Dorghistan nor USSR have responded in substance to any of our advances. We DEMAND that they do

I thank the leaders of the Northern Sub-Region for electing me to the position of Senior Councilor. I will work with the peoples and
leaders of Europe to ensure a peaceful future. To that end, I announce that the USSR will indeed hand over Serbia (Scherbatskaya) to
AU control. Soviet troops will remain there to ensure order, but now their base near Belgrade flies the AU flag alongside the Soviet
one. Today I arrived in Berlin to speak with Chancellor Reinhard. No cheering crowds greeted me, but that does not matter. All
nations in Europe are equal before North Councilor Metanov.
The Soviet Union has military bases in Austria, Scherbatskaya, and TreLanka. Therefore, any nation that invades those countries will
have to fight Red Army troops. War news: the Red Army's Taman Guards Division (it is in all the hot spots) has succeeded in
liquidating 3/4 of the Pankiss Ravine pocket. Casualties are heavy. The new T-90 tanks are performing quite well against the enemy
T-72s. The air war is also going well, with Soviet Su-37s scoring quite a few victories over the Dorghistani MiGs. Red Army troops
began to feel the weight of the Dorghistani army today, with more of their reinforcements arriving quickly. Rebellions against
Dorghistani rule in Abkhazia, Adzharia, and Armenia now received official support from the Politburo as the Defense Minister
announced that those regions will soon be liberated.
The latest Politburo meeting barely got off the ground as ministers rolled around the floor laughing. This was caused by threats from
the clearly mentally unstable General Hogash Bort of guinea, raving about the imaginary "Moiran Empire" and how it is going to
crush the USSR.
In response to Akhtendum's message: first,I refuse to discuss peace with the Dorghistanis until they agree to hand over Georgia,
Armenia, and Azerbaizhan. Second, the Austrian situation concerns me. To avoid AU troops fighting it out with Red Army units in
Austria, I am forced to reject Resolution 32.
Again, I thank Rwanda and Gilbratar for their assistance against the Dorghistani hordes. Has Tatiana Metanova ever heard of "total
war"? We only want the Caucasus but fight everywhere to cripple Dorghistan's economy and tie down their army all over the place.

VD is a lier.Many months ago he granted me the land and my military moved in and set up bases.I do have a navy and unless anyone
wishes to push me out a coastline too. Well Rwandan Foces in Iraq are bogged down around the city of Basrah.At this time our forces
are moving to cut off Highway 8.Kuwait is mostly secure except for some fighting on the Western Border. Our Forces in Saudi Arabia
are doing well.We have seized the cities of Al Hufag on the eastern coast and are heading toward Mecca on the Western
Coast.Casualties have been light so far because Dorghistan was not expecting this. Casualties in Iraq have been very heavy.We have
landed large amounts of men and materials and we are not leaving anytime soon. In other news today at approximately 10am
Brigadier General Max Thurman was killed in action while leading an attack against Dorghistani positions.General Thurman was the
Assistant Division Commander for the 1st Cav Division he was well liked and a distinguished soldier.He has received the Medal of

any coastal possessions. Thus we appeal to Rwanda‟s leaders to take their medication and realize that the toys in the bathtub do not constitute a navy!
In other matters, the PRBP abstains on SCR#32. We also wish to bring to everyone‟s attention that the Security Council had been considering sanctions against
Cuba. As voting had not closed by the time of the Security Council elections, we consider the resolution dead.

of Rwanda Today at Dawn Rwandan forces made amphibious landings in Jizzan,Al Wajh,and Yanbu al Bahr in Western Suadi Arabia.The attacks encountered light
resistance and light casualties were sustained. In Southwestern Saudi Arabia our forces have reached the outskirts of Mecca.Tough resistance has been
encountered and its going to be a tough fight.Another force is continueing on to Afif and bypassing Mecca. Our Forces in Eastern Saudi Arabia have linked up

The Today was quite an interesting day. First of all I‟d like to thank the Azaziel for kindly helping out our lost troops back home to Austria. Many families in

Bundesrepublik Other than this the Austrian lands have become contained and Austria is now officially one. (Consisting of the RL Austria and Slovenia) A parade was held in
Austria Vienna, and parties were also held through out the Republik. Austria is finally happily under one banner that is true to the Austrian people.
Today the Austrian Bundesrat expressed its support for our friends in the Soviet Union. We hope to see them have a speedy victory. They do not see Rwanda as
a nation that is honorable to fight this war, as their false navy sails around the globe. I take great pleasure in saying this personally: “Sie haben nicht eine
Marine! Dummkopf!” As for Gilbratar we applaud their efforts in Kuwait, and hope they are able to finally receive supplies. Austria will not join this war for

3.) Our nation really would like to improve our relations and see the rest of the African region. I personally invite any national leader to my home in Vienna,

Austria is currently, readying itself to spend millions on the best Train system in the region currently. Austrian engineers are taking their German ingenuity to
not only create the best lines in the area but eventually create a link with Western Europe. I would like to see what France, the Venetian Duchy, and perhaps
Spherica have to say about the idea of connecting to the Austrian Train System, and encouraging the flow of people between our worlds. I‟d say the same to
Cieara, but they seem to have evaporated from the region, and now are without leadership. I‟d like to expand the Train System to their people as well. We‟ll see
what is to happen.
As for the resigning of France from the Security Council, I am disappointed. I respect their ethics, and do wish the Spherican government luck as they take on
this task. I do believe that the Soviet Government will do a better job representing my people though.

progressive day. The Reichstag was in session with very little rest after our loss in the election, and was trying to decide the future of
Prussia. After much debate, the Democratic Republic of New East Prussia has decided several new points.
1.) The Democratic Republic of New East Prussia is no longer an independent nation, but a state under the control of the new
government of The Republic of Deutsche Demokratische. All foreign relations are to be conducted under the title of Deutsche
Demokratische.
2.) The government is now a Federal Republic that is ruled under a system of states, rather than the one nation. (Current only one state
exists: New East Prussia)
3.) The Chancellor now has power to conduct the military, as they should wish. The Reichstag is to only be conferred in the event of
popular disagreement. This is to only last for five years as the security of the Republic is at stake.
4.) The Prussian Military is to return to the strict and most effective training, and rule structure that lead Prussia to the top of the world
just before 1914.
5.) Prussia will begin the construction of Nuclear Weapons, in order to protect the state. They are to be produced in a limited fashion
and cannot be launched without the approval of the Reichstag if the Reichstag is in session. Thus the launch of nuclear weapons is in
the control of the citizens of the nation.
6.) Konigsberg will become a grandeur city, that will feature more public works, and reflect the greatness of the Germanic peoples.
The city has the goal to become larger, and a center of tourism, and power as the city will attempt to out gun Berlin, Vienna, Paris,
Moscow, Leningrad, and London in terms of greatness.
7.) Prussia will return to a state that completely devotes itself to the effectiveness of the military. Imports from Warlordia are to reach
a max, and Prussia asks the Warloadian government if they would be willing to increase military imports by 700%.
8.) Prussia will take an extremely active role in all Northern Conflicts. Prussia will improve relations and aim to expand its sphere of

ludicrous suspicion of espionage: an excuse, it seems, to continue this war to some end known
only to themselves. The war can only be going against them. Two nights ago, six ships (Two
Destroyers, one fleet oiler, two troop transports, and a sixth of unknown configuration, as yet
uninspected by our forces) in the Gibraltaran navy slipped the blockade in Suez, escaping to the
Theatre of War. We urge all sides to cease fire in this terrible war that can only cause pain.
To the USSR: we can fully understand your desires, both to annexe northern Dorghistan and to
contain nuclear weapons upon your border. However, without megalomanical leaders pushing
nations over the edge, Nuclear Weapons programmes are nothing more than very expensive
drilling of holes in the ground. If you wish to bring economic pressure upon NEP/DD, that is your
affair. However, do NOT presume to think that military aggression can in any way solve this
particular problem of yours. This delegate is not willing to tolerate your war of conquest in the

To help our Soviet allies, I have sent a wing of Medium Bombers, the F-111 to Bahrain. The

The wing will respond to any hostile vessels that come too close to the Colonies, and then act
accordingly to the target. They will also respond to any ground forces that try to move in from
Arabia.

Let it be known to Shcherbatskya that Ewok bay does not respond well to Terrorism, or any threats. We have a
military and weapon scheme to, and are not afraid to protect our nation from the ever growing threat of the
unjust and dark shadow that is looming at our gates. What Shcherbatskya have to gain by attacking the
peacefull Ewok bay, is beyond our comprehension, but one thing that I do knoe, is that it would be foolish to
attack Ewok bay, as it also contains many of the people of Kosovo that we have liberated. To Attack Us would
be to attack yourself, Shcherbatskya. Be warned. We will not sit by and watch our nation be taken away,
especially not given to evil. All we ask, is to continue to grow, and live in peace, and we will stand up to what
is right. We will not falter and fall at the first sign of enemy. The free peoples of the Military Tri- State of

impossible without help from allies. This is a call for help to all of the AU, who granted me this country of

whole country in a single day.
Mr. Zurivicous' demands for our troops to leave Scherbatskaya are quite justified, and the division near
Blegrade will march to Austria. If they are contested, they will fight back.
If the forces of Scherbatskaya do not leave Austria within twenty-four hours, a state of war will exist between
the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and Scherbatskaya. We will not stand for these unjustified imperialistic
assaults on our allies.

As of today Allied Forces have secured the Southern and Western portions of Basrah.The Nothern is nearly
under our control and all resistance in N Basrah is expected to cease by tomorrow.The southern portion of the

In other news at dawn this morning artillery and planes began bombarding Dorghistani positions in an

We have also begun a Christmas Offensive.At 12am local time Gilbratar and Rwandan Troops began an
offensive and after many weeks of being on the defensive began killing many Dorghs and have begun

The Socialist In response to the Soviet words of "wisdom" Shcherbatskaya has not moved into Austrian lands. This was a
Yugoslav Republic diversion, and unfortunately the Soviets read it like a book. Shcherbatskayan troops have actually been moving
of Shcherbatskaya northward into Ungarn/Hungary it is not receiving any problems from the civilians as the area has fallen into
lawlessness, we will impose our rule onto Hungarian people. If any nations have a problem with this, I tell
them to talk to myself, Great Jack Zurivicous leader of the Slavs. Hungarians are of Slavic descent and I do
believe that is it my divine right to lead them aswell.
As for the menace in the south, I have but one question. Ewok Bay claims to own Kosovo, yet the map reads
that they own Montengero. In either case the Slavic peoples do not stand for this, and our armies have begun
war with Ewok Bay. It began as missiles rained down upon Tirane as our very own modern-Blitzkrieg is put to
use against the Ewoks. Missiles rained down upon the Ewok troops, which was shortly followed un order by
bombers, paratroopers, tanks, helicopters, and lastly infantry. A over 100 missiles are launched towards Ewok
Bay every day. The preemptive strike is estimated to completely render the missile sites of Ewok Bay
destroyed. We‟ve hit many airfields, and our navy, which “should” exist as Montenegro was our port, is
constantly bombarding the Ewok coastline. After much debate if Kosovo, or Montenegro whichever happens to
be not in Serb control goes back into Shcherbatskayan hands, then we will end this war promptly. Our
reasoning is that we had lost this land with out much debate and without our consent.

The Socialist West Shcherbatskaya, better known as Bosnia and Croatia, is one of the main areas just reclaimed by the tyrant
Yugoslav Republic “Leader of the Slavs”. The area also home to a large number of Muslims, which have been subject to a huge
of Shcherbatskaya amount of ethnic cleansing, committed by the mad man. While the “Leader” is clearly insane, the men and
women in the military are not. Near Slovenia, the 2nd Shcherbatskayan Army, led by General Rostislav had
just suffered its worst defeat, and now had to turn around. Rostislav himself a good friend of Zurivicous, knew
what was coming to him and shot a bullet through the side of his head. This marked the beginning of complete
chaos, as much of the army while still being bombarded by Soviet soldiers, had to orders to attend to, and had
no idea on what to do. As lower ranking commanders scrambled to try to come up with a plan, they had
realized that it was all in vain. Belgrade wasn‟t supplying enough ammunition, tanks, planes, bomb, you name
it… the 2nd Army wasn‟t receiving it. It was almost as if they had been deserted.
This is the beginning of the story of a young Captain named Yulia Dokic. She had been born just in Osijek
Croatia, she had remembered the times of the old Yugoslavia, then the old Trojan Republic. She served as a
general in the Trojan republic but after it‟s collapse, she moved to Shcherbatskaya, where she had relatives in
Belgrade. Joining the Shcherbatskayan army, she became a captain quickly due to her position of a General in
Troy. Despite this accomplishment, most had laughed, and blew off her achievements. Now as a Captain, and
serving in her first war, on the Slovenian front, she and her comrades, her friends, were pinned down just about
500 meters away from what seemed to be Soviet Infantry men. She knew they‟d slit her throat, and let her set,
and rot. Decay in the countryside of a nation where she had once been born. Unsure of what to do she knew
that sitting in the crater made by an artillery shell, was not were she wanted to die. She took her tired, pulsing
body, and crawled over to her comrade, Tibor. Panting she asked, “What should we do? We‟re pinned down in
these foxholes, and the Russians and Austrians, are going to run us over soon.” She thought Tibor would have
a plan. Unfortunately he had no idea. He just have her a dismal look and sighed. “What if we surrender? Do
you think we‟d have a better chance of surviving?” Tibor then gave her a dumb look and stated “Are you
crazy!? You‟d have no chance surrendering to the Russians. First of all they‟d gag you, then probably strip and
rape you. After they had their fun they‟d leave to sit in the nude in the middle of the fields, were another
Russian would probably rape you and then shoot you… As for me… well I think they‟d just shoot me on the
spot.” Yulia looked at him and sighed… “It would worth giving it a thought. I just don‟t want to sit here and
die, uselessly.” Yulia then sat for what seemed a decade. She couldn‟t stand the fact that she was giving up her
life for no reason. Regardless of her life she decided she wouldn‟t. She took off her boot, and pulled off her
sock. The air was cold, and sent chills running down her spine. After putting her boot back on, she stuck the
sock on the end of her rifle and yelled; “surrender!” She yelled the command to everyone else on the front with
her. She stood up and waved her rifle around, letting the white sock be easily visible to the Soviet troops. The
Russian guns seemed to had stopped… or at least the infantry guns. The artillery was still at work. Suddenly a
sharp pain hit her shoulder and she felt flat on her back after what seemed like doing a triple toe loop in the air.
The world was dizzy, and she saw Tibor waving his hand in front of her. A Russian commander then seemed to
be at her side. He said something in Russian. She thought it sounded like; “Are you in command here?”. She
nodded and then fell asleep.

more internet access than was possible.
I was hoping to come back to an Africa that reinvigorated by the peace of the holiday
season. Instead I read posts of Rwandan forces invading Basra and Gilbraltar forces
joining the attack in what is called the “Christmas Offensive”. Personally I find it an
offense to associate the religious celebration of Christmas with a military campaign.
Shcherbatskaya has also been threatening Ewok Bay? If I am not mistaken, the nation of
Shcherbatskaya had collapsed a week ago. Did it reconstitute itself so easily?
The Soviets have invaded Austria and continue to disappoint Africa with their
expansionist tendencies.
Wereak has continued to attack Blue Nile and the capital city is being surrendered to Blue
Nile.
The citizens of United Faiths have risen above aggressive politics. They have taken the
mandate of the AU Secretary General, who must be losing sleep over so many problems
on the continent. Lord Akh has served this continent well and we are grateful to his
leadership. UF has improved infrastructure in the sectors of housing, health services,
nutrition and public transportation. The UF sector of Zevmar has progressed immensely
while the Bubonic Plague sector languishes in underdevelopment.
Once again, I must publicly request that Bubonic Plague forces retreat from the illegally
occupied city of Algiers. Following the establishment of our border three degrees and 15
minutes east of prime meridian, (Algiers is 3 degrees, 8 minutes east), Bubonic Plague is
in clear violation of the accord and I request that they retreat from the land, or they may
face a security council resolution that provides that land, and perhaps all of Zevmar for
UF control, something we are quite capable of administering.
I will give the BP government a day to think about their options before a more serious
measure is taken.

4 hours The Military Tri-State of In Response to the declaration of missile attacks on Ewok bay by Shcherbatskya, we will
ago Ewok Bay not react in fear. Our PAtriotic missile defence systems are shooting down roughly 63
percent of the missiles. The rest are falling on our cities, military and forrest. Of course,
as some know, a large segmant of The Military Tri-State of Ewok Bay is an Island that is
entirely devoted to military. The missiles used by Shcherbatskya cannot penatrate these
defensive sheilds put in place, so the main military sector of Ewok bay are in working
order.
However,the bad news, is that our city and smaller military opperations are being
pounded heavily. The government building was hit, causing the main roof to collapse,
killing hundreds. Our President, however, has fled to a secret high security compound.
In defense, our anti'missile defense has been working overtime, and missiles have been
sent to strategically strike the missile sights of Shcherbatskya, as to elimainate the threat
to our nation with the least amount of casulaties
If Schsherbatskya think that Ewok will give in so easily, they are mistaken. We will hld
on to what is rightly ours. Our Allies, such as Akhtendum are helping us to deal with the
threat that stalks us.
Once again, ewok calls upon all the nations of Africa that are willing to help us. The land
that we ocupy was granted to us be the AU, and we will hold on to it. Shcherbatskya will
not take away our land, and we will not tollerate the loss of life.
We warn Shcherbatskya that if they go any farther in their attack, then our missiles will
not just target their missiles, but we will fight back with more agression.

to do with us... However, the Soviet Union did not invade Austria. The USSR has an
alliance with Austria under which there is a Soviet Army base near Salzburg. The base
holds one division, and most of its troops are on the Scherbatskaya front.
The representative of Scherbatskaya told an interesting story about the heroism of his
troops, including that of a brave, strong, patriotic female fighter who is being raped by
Red Army soldiers. That sounds more like a Tom Clancy novel to me, but who am I to
judge enemy propaganda?
Soviet troops don't rape civilians without a cause*. They don't have any desire for
revenge against the Serbs, whom they see as brothers.

*In answer to these accusations, the conduct of Soviet troops in Germany in 1945 was
REVENGE. Those who harp on Red Army atrocities will find that they pale in
comparison to what the Germans did to the Soviets. Mass murder, genocide, mass rape,
looting of national treasures, burning of villages all were committed on a massive scale
by the Germans in the USSR 1941-1944. In his novel "Red Storm Rising", American
author Tom Clancy described a hypothetical Soviet invasion of Europe, with Russians
(evidently in an effort to make them the "bad guys") committing various crimes against
humanity.
As a Russian, I feel it is my duty to dispell the Cold War perceptions of us as barbarians
intent on the destruction of the civilised world. The Soviet Union suffered greatly in
World War II, but few people in the West pay attention to that. They would rather focus
on atrocities by Soviet soldiers. While they were certainly horrid and should have been
avoided, Tom Clancy and others like him take that as an example of standard conduct of

commander looked happy. “Get up, I think we can start getting the prisoners we‟ve taken
to fight for us, by fighting for you.”
This was the beginning of the Shcherbatskayan 1st Liberation Army, which was created
in order for Yulia to restore order in Shcherbatskaya, and so that the Soviet Union
wouldn‟t have to call for more men and women from Moscow to aid the cause in the
Balkans. Apparently the Liberation Army was receiving a good 100-1000 men and
women from other Shcherbatskayan armies a day. This was not only good news for
Yulia, but even better news for the Soviets and the Ewoks who were getting pounded by
various Shcherbatskayan missiles.
It was now the 29th of December and Yulia was waiting for her commands from the
Russian Commanders, on what her army of 7,000 men and women could do.

in the eyes of the people on the Shcherbatskayan side, and so that depending on the
response that you would give, would determine what would happen to those characters.

Austro-Russian army in northern part of the country. The Red Army, together with the
Austrians, is making rapid progress as Serb morale has collapsed. When it became
apparent to the Serbs that the Russians come not as enemies but as liberators, they began
to join the Soviet forces.
Yulia Dokic has been taken to meet with General Utka, who at present is the chief Soviet
commander in the Balkans. She may be a candidate for the leadership of Yugoslavia...
The previous leader of Serbia, Anna Pavlovna Scherer, was discovered by Austrian
soldiers in northern Serbia. After a brief firefight most of her guards/jailers were killed or
captured, and KGB troops were quickly flown in on a Mi-8 helicopter to secure the area.
Miss Scherer will remain in custody for her own protection*.
Few Serbs are actually fighting for the madman Zurivicous, who is probably still in

continent of microstates several times. Now I congratulate Shcherbatskaya for doing
away with more, but of the 87 mapped states, Africa still suffers by the infestation of
micro states. With a total of 172 countries on the continent, 85 African countries are
microstates. I recommend all miniature states to be destroyed completely and expelled
from Africa once and for all. I ask the Founder, United Faiths, to expel all of these
worthless states that eat away at our borders and suck off our natural resources like

present, the 4th Mechanized Infantry. AS you read this, the 3rd and 4th Cavalry Legions are being shipped to Quatar, and an Imperial
Marine Company is landing on Bahrain.
The 19th Armored Elite Legion, the Legion of the Imperial army that has seen the most combat and served in the most operations, and
was the personal Legion of the Empress herself durring the civil war in which the Great Houses gained their power, has established a
base of operations in South East Jordan to secure that border with Lesser Shepists and prevent Dorgh troops from crossing the desert
and raiding into Isreal / Palestine. The 33rd Cavalry Elite Legion is patroling the entire border of Isreal Palestine that is shared with
Dorghistani Iraq, and is covered by the 3rd Strategic Bomb Wing (based out of Jordan). The Mobile Cavalry legions are possibly the
quickest moving forces in Africa (but saddly, lack the fire-power to carry out a sustained battle, or a siege of a city. Cavalry legions
are really for raiding and rear guard, not frontal assault).
The Armored Legions however, are based on Fire-power. Their speed for a tank force is nothing special, but the fire-powr they posses

INTEGRITY: Libya has been reunified, with former "East Algeria" and the mainland once again one nation. The four powers in North

Slavs throughout the nation are all banding together against the Macedonian menace, as Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians,
Serbians, and Montenegroans stand united against the TreLankans. This sort of unity has not been seen in the Balkans
since the state was first declared after World War I.
The worst news of the day is the fact that documents and mass graves are found of the many people that Zack
Zurivicous slaughtered and killed. Of the many people that were killed the majority of the Muslim population has been
mercilessly murdered. This brings great sadness to the people around Yugoslavia, but also brings stability to the
Bosnian area of the country. The leaders of these death camps have been killed on the street and their bodies have been
thrown into dumpsters. Other war damage can be seen in Sarajevo, which has been completely leveled, and much of
the population is homeless. Some leaders call for the capital to be moved to Sarajevo, but many say that capital should
stay in Belgrade. This is most likely a debate to be settled by the new leadership of the nation.
The General of the Army in Hungary demands that the AUSG declare where the former nation of Ungarn is to be
placed. The Shcherbatskayan army is currently there and is for the most part working with the Hungarian communities
providing aid and protecting their streets. The General wishes to see Hungary become part of the new Shcherbatskaya,

ago Bastion of United Faiths I took power of United Faiths on January 1st, 2003 and have been as active as possible in my role in African affairs
ever since. I would have given up long ago except for the brilliant minds that contribute to this forum. While many of
you are much younger than this seasoned politician, I have found it a pleasure to work with you throughout the year
and have learned a great deal, believe it or not, about international affairs. The experience of being president of United
Faiths has been a microcosm case-study of sorts in a life-long dedication to furthering an understanding of
international affairs. The different disciplines of the individuals participating and their insights have been appreciated.
We come from different corners of the globe with contrasting world views, which ultimately are reflected in one way
or another.
We try to build a better world and sometimes are swept up in the greed of acquiring more land, more political clout,
more power. This does not differ much from the world in which we live today where individuals drive the policy
agenda. The difference is that in nationstates Africa we have an undefined and virtually boundless arsenal of resources
from which we can continuously feed our power-lusting appetites. The greatest likeness to reality is lost in warfare and
power projection and this is the aspect I would like to refine better in the coming year.
GAZING TOWARD 2004
Where are we now and where are we going? African sub-regions seem to be heading in their own directions. There
does not seem to be unifying factors that tie the continent together. North Africa lacks passion for Southern Africa‟s
AIDS crisis. West Africa overlooks the conflict in the Balkans. Following are some goals and loose ends to tie up in
the coming year:
1. Complete the Winter Olympics Tournaments. Some competitions are still open.
2. Complete the Chess Tournament. To date only three tournaments have taken place. The slowness of the tournament
is mainly my fault but I will dedicate myself to trying to set up games over the next few days.
2. Defense Force. I believe the African Union should have a force to deal with aggressor states. Not a peacekeeping
force, but a military force. We have been too complacent for too long with states that illegally want to take land from
others. Despite appeals and diplomacy, we have achieved little in securing peace. It is time to go beyond mindless
invasions and devote our time to some deeper issues and discussions. Warfare should be a last resource not a
convenient tool for any objective.
3. Song Contest. I would like to prepare the Afrovision Song Contest (modeled after Eurovision). The songs would be
placed on the website in mp3 format and they would then be voted on by players, allocating 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, etc.

4. Addressing the Limitless Resource Problem. I would like to address the problem of god-modding, especially in
warfare, by ranking states in terms of GDP, production of key resources like petroleum, coal, wheat. The process will
take a lot of time as it should incorporate accurate statistical information from the countries and geographies in
question as well as a fusion with the administrator-provided statistics and rankings from nationstates Africa.
5. Php site. Progress on preparing this has advanced more slowly than anticipated, but the UF civil servants will
continue to work on mastering this technology and creating a self-sustaining forum so that Africa does not need to
solely depend on the Nationstates.net forum for communication.
6. Color map. The cartographers at United Faiths are working FINALLY on accomplishing the color map of Africa
with fine detail as developed on Adobe Photoshop Deluxe. Stay tuned… If possible, I would like to make the map
interactive so that you can click on a country and be transported to the national website, national anthem, etc.
7. An “About Us” page on the website. This would be an informal OOC site that expands on a few posts in the bulletin
board. Some may be curious to know who are the puppet masters that pull the strings on this operation.
8 New Members. After 1-7 have been accomplished, I believe that Africa would be in a position to advertise for new
members. At the moment, although states are expiring, I believe actively seeking new members through the
encouragement of independence struggles of liberation are not necessary. It is very easy to increase the size of the
continent with new mapped states and certainly we welcome new mapped states in Africa and will gladly provide them
space on the map (there are some empty territories at the moment and other areas for maneuvering), but I would NOT
like to see any more PUPPET STATES emerge. NEW MAPPED STATES SHOULD BE HELD BY NEW
PLAYERS.
This is my 8-point agenda for next year. A personal one at best. It is not a campaign promise as I am not running for
any office. : )

Some of you may be wondering, how many pages of conversation have we had over the past year? Well, with
overstretched margins and an 8-point Times New Roman font, the total contribution in the Africa Region Spans to
exactly 1,145 pages of text! So I don‟t want to hear any complaints from any of you that a 5-page paper is too long to

With regard to the website, I also want to thank all of you for remaining interested and visiting the site with frequency.
I have set a counter on the site since I began in mid-July. Today, the counter reads 3,725 hits. I am extremely proud of
that number. I try to update it daily, although this past month has made it more difficult to update with frequency. The
weekly update page is always the most update and in depth information on the day. The address is:

P.P.S. Finally a more IC post: Col. Mohammar Qadhaffi has returned to Libya. Truly this is a sad day for Africa as this
radical extremist knows of little other recourse but terrorism and intimidation to achieve his objectives. And the
hypocrite accuses United Faiths of “invading” Zevmar? Zevmar ceased to exist, UF sent a peacekeeping force and
Akhtendum granted us the territory. Libya is out of line and I detest the accusatory nature of the Qadaffi dictatorship.
With regard to the Shcherbatskayan dictatorship, while I do not endorse political assassination, I believe that the
murder of Zack Zurivicious will bring long-term prosperity to the country despite some short-term instability. UF
stands ready to help in any way possible. I would only ask the TreLankan government to cease their state-supported
rebel incursion into Shcherbatskaya.
This is my last message for the year 2003 and I wish to rise above the fray to paint a larger picture which also speaks
specifically to issues of invasion and illegal land acquisitions down to the latest example of TreLanka.
