Dr Anne Sales, MSN PhD RN
Dr. Sales is a research scientist in the Health Services Research and Development Center of
Excellence at VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, Washington. She is also an
associate professor in the Department of Health Services, School of Public Health and
Community Medicine at the University of Washington. She has been with VA for over eight
years, and involved in a number of health services research projects focusing on improving the
quality of care to veterans with ischemic heart disease and on the practice of nursing within
VHA. She has also had experience working as a staff person in VISN 20, the Northwest
Network. Her current position includes responsibility as Implementation Research Coordinator
for the Ischemic Heart Disease Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (IHD QUERI), located
at the HSR&D Center of Excellence at VA Puget Sound Health Care System.
