Dear Mrs. Wood:
It is a great pleasure to write to you on behalf of Elizabeth Peters, who I understand, is
seeking a position with your department. I have had the opportunity to work with her for the last
three years. As one of the night shift Team managers in the Women’s Center at Integris Baptist
Medical Center, I have had many opportunities to identify her superior work habits and skill
levels. For the last year, I have had the opportunity to work with her on a management level as
she has functioned well as a relief lead nurse. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership,
management, and organizational skills necessary for nursing.
During Mrs. Peters’ employment in our unit, she has been and continues to be an
asset in satisfying the need of a reliable and dependable lead nurse at Integris Baptist Medical
Center. Mrs. Peters has demonstrated a high level of commitment, a willingness to accept
responsibility, and the interpersonal skills necessary to handle conflict and challenging situations.
Mrs. Peters has a number of strengths to offer Mercy BirthPlace. She is professional,
responsible, dedicated, and compassionate. While working in the Women’s Center, she has
consistently provided safe, compassionate care to our patients and their families. She was
always willing to go a step beyond what was expected of her, and as a result, made many
great connections with our patients and their families. Mrs. Peters always maintained a
professional rapport with staff and had excellent attendance.
I would highly recommend her for a registered nurse position at Mercy BirthPlace. Your
department will benefit from her exceptional work ethics and leadership. If you have any
questions regarding Mrs. Peters’ work with our institution, please don't hesitate to contact me at
405-949-3000.
Sincerely,
Georgia Wallace, RN
