We welcome you to experience the beauty and
mystery of the magnificent Monarchs.
Thousands of Monarch butterflies visit
Pismo Beach November through February.
Every winter these beautiful winged creatures
vacation in one of California’s
most populated and the most
visited Monarch Grove in
the United States.
They flutter and soar in the sunshine, then
huddle together in large clusters on
Eucalyptus and
Pine trees.
Visitors from
all over the
world come
to observe this
annual event.
The Grove is staffed daily
from 10am - 4pm
November through February
Talks are given at 11am & 2pm
Docents and Volunteers are on
duty to answer your questions

Southbound Exit Pismo Beach Highway 1
(Dolliver St.) Travel 11/2 mile. Grove is on the
right.
Northbound Exit Price Street. Turn left at Pomeroy
Ave. Turn left on Highway 1 (Dolliver St.) Travel 1 mile.
Grove is on the right.
Buses – Turn into the North Beach Campground.
Continue to the back of the campground
for parking and Grove access.
