American Revolution Project: One Page Paper
1. This is an individual project, and you must provide a:

12 pt. font
Double spaced typed paper.
2. Your paper must explain how you researched your topic on the American Revolution.
Explain the resources you used for your project.
Did you use the American Republic textbook the Adventure Tales of America book?
Did you use a specific site on the internet? What was the site on the internet called?
*Remember Google and Yahoo are search engines – I need specific names of the
website you got your research from. If you have forgotten where you found the
information – look it up again!
Did you go to the library and check out a book on the American Revolution? What was
the name of the book?
3. Explain how your topic and project relates to the American Revolution. (For example if
you are drawing a picture of George Washington crossing the Delaware River, explain
how this is significant to the American Revolution. George Washington’s crossing of the
Delaware River was significant to the American Revolution because…)
4. Finally explain how you completed your project. (For example: I made a painting on a 9
x 16 inch canvas with acrylic paint. I used the famous picture of Washington crossing
the Delaware as my inspiration, but I created my own interpretation of this historic
event.)
5. The heading of your paper should be formatted like this:

American Revolution Project
Begin writing your paper. Remember to use double spacing and 12 point font.
Make sure that you proofread your paper before you turn in your work. Spelling, capitalization,
punctuation and correct grammar are necessary. Make sure that you do your best work and don’t
wait until Sunday night to begin working on this assignment. I expect quality work and I know
you all can do this! No excuses, all projects are due on Monday, November 9th. Thank you!
