Transformers: Regen
Characters:
Autobots:
Optimus Prime:
Heavy Rescue vehicle later destroyed and rebuilt as:
S-92 Sikorsky.
Leader of the Autobots. Midway through the series he is destroyed during a fight with
Megatron & Galvatron and rebuilt by a “creator” faction who hide his true identify from
him in an effort to reunite the entire transformer race. While fighting for the Creators he
goes by the name Jinrai. His identify and memories are returned to him later when the
creator‟s realize their goal is impossible and Prime is needed to lead the Autobots against
M&G.
Weaknesses: typical Prime weakness, more concerned for other than he is of himself,
putting himself in more danger than a leader often should.
Mirage:
Dodge Tomahawk
Autobot Counter intelligence expert. The first one called on for recon on decepticon
activity, Mirage is also the fastest ground-based Autobot. Able to cloak himself for short
periods of time
Weaknesses: Lack of precise control at high speeds. Arrogant, often over estimates his
abilities, putting himself into situations he can barely escape from, if at all.
Jetfire:
B-1 Bomber
Autobot second-in-command. Almost the perfect warrior, combining fire power,
intelligence and speed. Takes over leadership of the Autobots when Prime is
“destroyed.”
Smokescreen:
Autobot Warrior.
Ratchet:
Autobot warrior, Left Gestalt arm.
Iron Hide:
Autobot warrior, Right Gestalt arm.
Inferno:
Autobot warrior, Left Gestalt leg.
Red Alert:
Autobot warrior, Right Gestalt leg.
Prowl:
Autobot warrior, Head of Gestalt.
Decepticons:
Megatron:
multiple rocket launch system artillery vehicle
Decepticon Leader. See Galvatron for further details.
Galvatron:
Hind Helicopter.
Originally Megatron‟s twin, he and Megatron acted as personal guards for the previous
Decepticon leader, until they betrayed him and destroyed him, with the intent to assume
shared leadership of the decepticons, but Galvatron was then betrayed by Megatron, and
his spark was imprisoned, left to be recovered by the “Librarian” . Eventually he escapes
imprisonment and follows Megatron to Earth where he takes the form of a Hind until he
and Megatron are destroyed and subsequently imprisoned briefly inside the Autobot
Matrix of Leadership, until they join forces and escape and migrate to a gestalt form.
Soundwave:

Decepticon warrior.
Starscream:
MiG-29
Decepticon Warrior. Plays Megatron and Galvatron against each other after Galvatron‟s
return in order to assume leadership of the Decepticons, which he eventually does after
M&G are seemingly destroyed by Prime.
Shockwave:
Decepticon warrior, remains stationed at Cybertron until summoned by Megatron.
Rewire:
Decepticon warrior.
Others:
Librarian: Legendary recorded keep or all transformer history, no one is truly sure if he
does in fact exist, and if so where. He is the keeper of records and lost sparks and resides
deep in the core of Cybertron.
The Creators: the race which first built the transformers, summoned to Earth by the
release of the Matrix, they resolve to reunite both sides into one. They rebuild the fallen
Prime, hiding his true identity from him to try and achieve their goals, but return him to
his true self when they realize their goal is impossible.
Story:
Standard G1 beginning, until Galvatron is introduced, revealing the history behind
Megatron‟s original rise to leader of the Decepticons. A power struggle between
Galvatron and Megatron erupts with Starscream playing both sides in an effort to get both
M&G to destroy each other, leaving him free to take over leadership of the decepticons.
During a battle with the Autobots, the in-fighting comes to head, eventually resulting in
the seeming destruction of Prime, Megatron and Galvatron. The battle causes the
Autobot Matrix to be released, calling the Creators to Earth, and temporarily trapping
M&G in the Matrix. Jetfire is left to lead the Autobots against a Starscream lead force of
decepticons, while the force of the Creators makes a third side to the battle. Eventually
the Creators team dissolves, allowing Prime to return to the Autobots, just in time to deal
with the return of M&G in a new gestalt form. The rest of the Creators force splinter off
between the Autobots and Decepticons.
As far as like TV series would go, I‟d think like 10 “episodes” to start off the series, just
introduce basic characters, establish the plot and various relationships between the main
characters, then maybe re-establish a relationship between the „bots on Cybertron and the
ones on Earth, and then introduce Galvatron and the rest of the plot goodness from there.
