What happens---
If I am going to miss a chapter meeting?
o I must Email the secretary 24 hours in advance of the
meeting
o I must attend 80% of the semester’s meetings
If I am late to a meeting?
o I will be counted tardy—3 tardies=1 unexcused absence
If I am going to miss a mandatory event?
o I must have a typed excuse to present to the executive board
at their meeting. ( The board has final say if I am excused)
If I do not attend 2 rush events?
o I will be fined up to 10 dollars. (5 dollars per each event
not attended).
If I do not attend meet the chapter?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I do not attend the pledge pinning?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I fail to complete the service hour requirements?
o I will be fined 5 dollars per non-completed hour
If I fail to attend mid court?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I fail to complete my fundraising requirement?
o I will be fined 30 dollars
If I do not attend mid court?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I fail to wear Professional business attire to rituals and
professional programs? ( a button up and at least a tie for men
and a blouse and some sort of jacket for women)
o I will not be allowed into event and I will be fined
If I fail to wear my pin to meeting?
o After three non-pin wearing meetings, I will have one
unexcused absence added to me attendance
If I fail to attend court of honor?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I do not attend initiation?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I do not attend election of Chapter officers?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I do not attend Demit?
o I will be fined 25 dollars
If I do not attend 2 pledge meetings?
o I will be fined 5 dollars per missed meeting
If I do not attend 2/3 of the professional programs?
o Then I will be fined 15 dollars for each missed program
Miscellaneous
Service hours
Each member is required to complete 4 service hours throughout
the semester. 2 for the community and 2 for the university.
Professional Programs
Each member must attend 2/3 of all scheduled professional
programs.
Sober Psi
Sober Psi is a designated driver program; actives can receive two
hours of community service for being a sober psi. This is a non
mandatory program.
I have read and agree to all policies and procedures stated above. I am
in full understanding that any breaking of any of these policies will
result in fines or other penalties.
