Primary Purpose: To provide comprehensive Hopper service between NCN sites
Location: All ncn sites; based at one main site with the expectation to
work at any site as required.
General Duties & Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities
To transport during term time staff and students including non-ambulant person’s
between all ncn sites following a pre determined daily timetable between the hours
of 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
NB: exact term time dates may vary year on year.
Work flexibly according to the needs of the College:
Be pro-active in identifying potential situations that could detract from the Health
and Safety and security of the environment and to take appropriate action.
Be proactive in seeking and participating in relevant personal development.
Provide First Aid cover
May be required to provide additional support within the Estates department,
including occasional driving duties and/or general porterage duties where
appropriate of the College fleet of vehicles.
Be responsible for the daily inspection of the college vehicle including the checking
of tyres, water, oil etc and maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy state at all times,
to this end the post holder may be required to carry out a comprehensive clean of
the vehicle when deemed necessary by the Estates Manager if this is required
outside of normal working hours additional payment at the appropriate rate will be
paid.
Their may be occasions when the post holder will be required to work outside
of the normal College working hours for which additional payments at the
appropriate overtime rate will be paid.
