Also it was a surprise attack.
WHEN
Pearl Harbor took place on December 7, 1941. During that day the
Japanese hit their first target at 7:53 am.
By 8:55 am they have hit their second target.
And it was all over by 9:55 am.

7:50 AM- The first bomb of Japanese war destroyed the
mess hall with 35 American pilots in it.
8:00 AM- Battle ship Arizona explodes.

trapped in a ship that was being flooded.
The man reported that he was held at 10:30 after the torpedoes
and bombs were fired.
He said that a ship was being flooded with fuel oil coming from
vents and other places.
