Shopping Spree
This Winter I won 10,000 dollars on KRQ. My original plan
was to spend the ten thousand dollars on myself but according to
the calendar Christmas is coming up which means Christmas
shopping is coming up too, so I decided that it would be best to
spend my money on gifts. There are many people on my list but I
only have ten thousand dollars so I narrowed it down. My mom,
my dad, my sister, my brother, Evelyn, Diego, Tiana, Jr., Santiago,
and the wretched poor children.
Since my mom is the most precious thing in my life I would
like to get her $250 dollars worth of Jewelry. I would also like to
give her $250 dollars so she can buy things for herself.
I never give my dad a gift because I never have any money
but this year I would like to get my dad a $450 gift card at JC
Penney and a $50 Casio Men's Black Dial Stainless Steel Redline
Watch so he can be “cool” for winter.
Andrea is my only and greatest sister so for my sister,
Andrea, I would like to get her a $250 spa gift card at Canyon
Ranch Spa, a $250 dollar gift card at the mall.
I have many nieces and nephews but there is one I spend the
most time with her name is Evelyn she is only five years old but
she acts like a fifteen year old. A few days ago I asked myself what
I could get her but my mind had went blank so I thought I would
cover my identity and told her that I would be writing to Santa and
asked if she wanted anything from him. I thought it would be less
obvious if I wrote it down but what I expected, which was a few
dolls and some clothes, turned out to be a two page Christmas list I
thought that Evelyn would be very disappointed with what “Santa”
was about to give her, a few gums and a nickel, but since I have
won this grand prize I thought I would put it all together and my
solution was a two-hundred fifty dollar gift card for Toys R Us.
My youngest nephew Diego is only about one year old and
he really likes to build with shoes or books or pots and pans but I
felt bad for him because at our house he has no one or anything to
play with well since you can’t buy a good friend I decided that I
would give him something that he can build with and have a good
time with, blocks (which cost about forty dollars). I also wanted to
give him a ninety-dollar gift card at Toys R Us and a 120-dollar
gift card at Old Navy.
I have only one brother and he is about to turn 28. Since I
love him with all my heart I will give him custom made shoes,
which is about 120 dollars, and 380 dollars to spend.
My jumping buddy is Jr. he is the one that can never sit still.
For along time I wondered what to get him and then I remembered
his fascination with lions, and tigers, and bears (oh my!) so I
thought I should get him his all time favorite movie Lion King one
and a half but then I thought why don’t I get him all three movies
its only about sixty five dollars. I also thought I’d get him a 185
dollar gift card for Toys R Us.
For my youngest niece I would like to give her a one hundred
and thirty dollar gift card at Toys R Us and a one hundred and
twenty dollar gift card at Old Navy.
For my nephew already 12 years old I will get a MICRO
GAMEBOY, which is about 90 dollars, and a four hundred and ten
dollar gift card at Walmart.
The rest of the money, which is 3,500 dollars, I will give to
the poor children that you see on TV.
Even though Christmas isn’t always presents it really can
make you feel loved and cared about especially those that have
nothing.
