The 2010 Women’s Volleyball season began

long before the start of classes on Monday

morning. The sixteen young women on the

team, along with head Coach Kelly Fitzgerald,

began training for the season in the spring.

When summer started, practices did not light-

in preparation for the upcoming season. The

summer break ended early with the team

starting their preseason training on August 9.

Much of the training is dedicated to condition-

the plays and getting used to playing together

as a team. Coach Fitzgerald emphasizes that

the main goal for preseason is to “get the fresh-
