AUDREY ROTH
Audrey Roth plays two roles on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
In Make-Believe segments of the program, she portrays Audrey Paulificate, King Friday’s
telephone operator, who is expected to locate everything from a royal airplane to a Metropolitan
opera star at a moment’s notice!
In the “real” Neighborhood, she plays the owner of Audrey Cleans Everything, a successful
business with specialized cleaning services. It allows her to travel from homes and offices to
stadiums and jets—A.C.E. loves a challenge and you can count on her for expert results!
In private life, Audrey is the mother of three children and also a young grandmother. She
attended drama school at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and then went to New York
City to pursue a career in musical comedy, appearing there in many productions, including the
original version of Best Food Forward.
Presently, she is a free-lance performer, does paintings, and appeared in the Pittsburgh Playhouse
Production of Gypsy, playing the dynamic Madame Rose, Civic Light Opera productions of
Mame and The Music Man, and the Pittsburgh Ballet Company’s Swan Lake, featuring Edward
Villella.
