Every living organism has certain characteristics that make it different

from other organisms. Analysis of Gene Expression is meant to determine

the genes that are involved in the expression of these characteristics.

Scientists all over the world have come up with very many ways that can

be used to determine the genes that are responsible for the expression of

these characteristics. Some of the methods that have been employed in the

analysis of these characteristics include serial analysis of gene

expression. This method has been highly regarded by many scientists to be

the best in both quantitative and simultaneous analysis of numerous

transcripts. Other methods that have been employed include microarrays

and two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. These methods have found various

applications especially in the fields of medicine and agriculture. The

Next Generation Sequencing- NGS analysis of these characteristics has

also incorporated the advancement in technology to help researchers to

come up with results that is not only accurate but is precise. The NGS

analysis helps us to understand how the various protein compounds

interact with the Nucleic Acid material to produce certain

characteristics. All these processes are combined in to a single unit to

form a pathway. The pathway analysis allows these biological processes to

be represented and sorted according to their given set of genes. The

importance of carrying out these NGS analysis allow for the sequencing of

the genome or the exome that help the scientist get more insight of the

mutations. These mutated characteristics will be dealt with according to

their structure. Pathway analysis of the various analysis of the gene

expression will help in developing the proper medication for the various

mutations that will be experienced. The analysis will also help to

analyze the impacts of human variants on the gene regulation protein

function and the disease risk factors. The analysis also enables the

removal of biologically insignificant or redundant mutations that are

present in the body system. This will help the essential genes to be

revealed and natured to express the right characteristics. These

biological process are also involved in the detecting the disease causing

genes and also helps identify the drug targets of the various genes. This

factor allows the drug action in the body system not only to be effective

but also reduce the rate at which formation of drug resistant mutations

occur. These gene expression analysis procedures allow the detection of

the various causes of mutation in an individual. The processes will not

only find the problem but also find ways of developing a cure for the

mutation. These analyses will also help different people to be able to

understand their disease conditions like cancer. The advancement in

technology has also helped to come up with different instrument that not

only make the analysis simple but very affordable. The regulation and

control of the gene mutations is now possible with the evolvement of such

hi-tech equipments. Change is truly inevitable and the only thing we can

do is to embrace the advancements that science has made possible. For more
