Repeat Dialing
Repeat Dialing permits the End User to have calls automatically redialed when the
first attempt reaches a busy signal. The line is checked every 45 seconds for up to
30 minutes, and alerts the EU with a distinctive ringing pattern when the busy
number and the EU's line are free. The EU can continue to make and receive calls
while the feature is activated.

Service may be used as Subscription (unlimited use) or Usage Sensitive (Pay-

Activation
To activate Repeat Dialing, the EU:
After making a call, hangs up the phone
Then, picks up the phone and listens for a dial tone
Dials *66 ('1166' for users with rotary service)
Then hears either ringing, a recording saying the number is busy, or a
recording saying the call can't be redialed.
If a busy announcement is heard, the EU hangs up. Repeat Dialing will
keep trying the number for up to 30 minutes. If the busy number or
the EU's number are unavailable after 30 minutes, Repeat Dialing
shuts itself off.
If the recalled number is busy, Repeat Dialing will keep trying that
number for up to 30 minutes and, when it's free, will notify the Repeat
Dialing EU with a special ring (short, short, long) that the recalled
number is now available. When the EU picks up the phone, the number
being called will ring, and the call will be completed automatically.
If the Repeat Dialing EU does not pick up the phone, the special ring
will sound every 5 minutes, providing the line is free, for the duration
of that 30 minutes interval.
When both the called number and the EU's number are free, Repeat
Dialing will signal with a special ring
To turn off Repeat Dialing, the EU:
Picks up the phone and listens for a dial tone.
Presses *86 ('1186' for rotary dial users). A recorded message will
confirm that Repeat Dialing request has been canceled.
Prompted Repeat Dialing
