Increasing exposure online can generate more traffic for your website and result in greater sales. Here are some of the best strategies to reach a larger audience.

There are several channels that will increase your online visibility. Here, quantity matters; the greater your exposure online, the larger the number of potential customers that see your wares. Use as many of the following strategies for maximum exposure.

Social Media

Sites like Twitter and Facebook frequently appear in search engine results, so these can help your business get better search engine visibility. Let’s say that your business deals with accounting in Seattle, WA. If you enter the keywords “Seattle accounting firm” on your social media pages and someone searches for these words, your Twitter or Facebook page might appear in the results. Even if your website doesn’t rank as highly as others, the social media websites can increase your online exposure.

Blogs

By generating informative content on your company’s blog and focusing on keywords that are of interest to your target audience, you can engage new readers who may also be interested in what your company’s product. Search engines like Google look for fresh content, so the more you post, the better your site will rank.

Tip: If your blog doesn’t yet have much traffic, offer to guest post on more popular blogs in your industry. Remember to include a bio with a link to your company website.
