If you are looking for a place to list your commercial real estate properties, put the following comprehensive resources at the top of your list:

CoStar

This site allows you to find, market and analyze properties across all commercial types, including office, industrial, multifamily, retail, flex, hospitality and land. The system is operated by professional researchers who verify all of the information, so its accuracy on data like occupancy, absorption, rental rates, leasing activity and market comparisons is above and beyond its competitors. It also features the iPad app CoStarGo, which makes it easy to carry data while you’re out of the office. The site claims that it’s free to list a property, but using many of the added tools can cost you. At press time, the website didn't indicate any pricing, but you can contact a sales representative for more details or to register for a demo.

LoopNet

Acquired by CoStar in 2012, “LoopNet.com is the most heavily trafficked commercial real estate website, with nearly 5 million average monthly unique visitors,” according to the website. The site offers for-sale and lease properties, full comparable data and property records. You can register for the basic site for free or upgrade to the premium service, with plans starting at $69.95 per month.

Property Line

Property Line is a free commercial listing and marketing resource that offers unlimited listings and free demographic reports. The eMarketing system does come with fees, but you can cost-effectively do things like create digital brochures to target commercial real estate professionals or blast email fliers to the inboxes of Property Line members.

Rofo

Rofo is a straightforward and clean site that makes it easy to find office space and commercial real estate. You can register for a free account, but plans that offer more promotional opportunities and guarantee qualified contacts start at $45 per month. According to their website, all plans include “customizable listings widgets, integrated property fliers, an integrated Craigslist ad publisher, LinkedIn and Twitter account integration, professional profiles, customer support and complete listings management.”

Arcestra

The site offers 3D visualization, so it is a great way to get potential tenants interested in a property with a nice interior because they can better understand the space by experiencing it in interactive 3D. The site also offers other features such as real-time publishing of vacancies and web-based management of marketing and leasing information. 3D creations of your space start as $0.25 per square foot for the Silver Package and max out at $0.75 per square foot for the Platinum Package. All you need is a CAD file of your space to begin creating your 3D images; learn how to create a CAD file here.

Realtor.com

Considered to be the most trustworthy real estate site for residential properties, you can also put your faith in the site for commercial properties with the “Commercial Search” feature. The site is endorsed by the National Association of Realtors, and it offers great features for no cost.
