In 2011 there were 129,000 fewer millionaire households in the U.S., the direct result of a decrease of $38 trillion in private wealth in North America.

12.6 Million Millionaire Households Worldwide

The highest density of millionaire households in 2011 was in Singapore, with 17 in every 100 households having a private wealth of $1 million or higher.
