Stumbling Into Summer, Only 69,000 Jobs Added In May 2012

United States employers added only 69,000 jobs in May, the fewest in a year and far below expectations of 240,000.

Unemployment Up to 8.2%

With job growth stumbling, the slight increase in the unemployment rate by 0.1% to 8.2% is noticeable, especially since it was the first time it reached that level since June 2011.
