Communication Strategy
A Communications Strategy Plan has been developed for the Low Power, High Interest quadrant in the Power Interest Communications Grid.
Introduction - “JABIT Media”
A Multimedia company who mainly develop and implement e-learning tutorials for software companies, education departments, and businesses for training purposes. For several months “JABIT Media” have been having communications problems: Internally with staff o Unable to find relevant information to complete projects on time Externally with clients o Lack of communication with staff handling projects
This has led to a loss in project production and completion times delayed, if this continues JABIT Media’s business reputation with potential clients and sales will be adversely effected.
Strategic Objectives
JABIT Media should be able to keep their clients aware, informed and up to date with the progress of all aspects of their projects production at all times. Doing so will improve communications between all the stakeholders and the company: Improve staff communication and collaboration and kept up to date with latest developments regarding project status with other departments involved (pull technology)
Improve awareness of projects development for clients with periodic reports (push technology) Improve staff contact with internal emailing from the blog development site (who sends - push & who reads - pull) Improve client satisfaction with the implementation of a blog development site, and keeping blog up to date on latest developments. (pull technology)

Recommended Transmission Channels
In using this method of communications, “JABIT Media” will keep their clients and staff informed about the development of all aspects of projects. This will improve communications between all stakeholders and the company.
A Blog Project Development Site o A confidential blog site for all departmental staff of a project

A blog project development site will be used for each individual project
Also can be viewed by upper management

A blog will keep all staff informed with the progress of all departments involved in the development of any projects
Updates on each departments status over the project

Separate blog pages for each department pertaining to the current project
Project requirements information page Audio for all audio content Video for all video content Text content from copywriters

Emailing to and from the blog development site for staff and clients A blog will keep all clients involved and informed on the development of their project
By implementing these channels stakeholders in the quadrant will be kept completely informed. The type of information provided through these channels is solely on the progress and development of clients projects.

1. The main goal of this Communications Strategy Plan is to keep the Low Power, High Interest quadrant communicating more with each other and informed as to a projects status. 2. In order to do this the specific goals listed in the objective need to be met. 3. In order to improve awareness and satisfaction to staff and clients the transmissions channels will need to be put in place and maintained.
4. The main focus of this strategy is to improve communications with all
departments’ staff and improve productivity and collaboration.
5. Improve on JABIT’s current communication channels for potential new
clients.
