payment, demand
Quite often individuals are confronted with bills like telephone bill, electricity bill or similar documents which demand a certain action to be taken by them in order to reciprocate to the claims made. Such types of documents are popularly known as demand letters and demand the receiver to perform certain obligations owing to the alleged contract-breach. Sometimes individuals need to pay money or to rectify a problem. In daily life claims are made by loaning institutions against the borrower and by individuals against the insurance companies. These letters aim at providing compensation to the aggrieved parties by acting as an interface between the concerned parties. Demand letters are treated as legal instruments to transmit monetary demands and supports exhibits. A short and clear demand letter may prove helpful in resolution of a number of disputes without going to the court. It outlines the reasons of demanding certain amount and is a polite and formal request or order to the confronting party. However before writing a demand letter, an analysis of history of dispute helps in presenting things in a lucrative way and the chances of compromise increase as it provides the alternatives available to the opposite parties. It must bear a professional look and mention the court-alternative at the end.
