It shows how the company will go at a slower pace for one year before rising at a hectic pace to triple their profits the next. Some people do not have the fore sight to think 2 years into the future, and this might be why more people choose to rise gradually. *Maybe* they do not want to invest in their business in the off chance that their small business can collapse at any moment. This might work for large corporations but I'm not convinced.
